Kayla is an associate attorney based out of the Colorado Springs office. As an attorney, Kayla’s career has always focused on civil litigation and real estate law. As a civil litigator, Kayla successfully advocates for her clients by employing effective legal strategies and creating creative solutions to resolve client disputes. She has assisted clients with a wide variety of legal matters, including contractual disputes, landlord/tenant matters, boundary line disputes, property damage, probate contests, HOA disputes, debt collection, general tort claims, discrimination claims, real estate license complaints, and real estate issues.

Kayla believes strongly that securing beneficial results for clients requires a deep understanding of their unique position and goals and identifying how to balance that with their legal standing in each case. Litigation is a stressful event for clients and Kayla strives to assist them

Kayla is an active participant in the legal community through various volunteer board positions. Through these positions, she hopes to encourage positive growth for attorneys and create environments where a multitude of voices can be heard and supported as we navigate the practice of law.

Kayla received a B.A. in English from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs in 2013 and a J.D. from the University of Denver in 2016. Colorado Springs Magazine has named her as a Top Attorney in 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. She was also recognized as a Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2024 and 2025.

In her free time, she loves reading, spending time with her daughter, and exploring the outdoors. She also enjoys running in mud runs and half marathons. In 2023, she completed the Garden to Peak Challenge by running the Garden of the Gods 10 Mile, the Barr Trail Mountain Race and the Pikes Peak Ascent.
