Sam Scheurich is an associate attorney based in our Cherry Creek office. Sam graduated from the University of Arizona where he pursued a degree in print journalism. After college, Sam joined the United States Peace Corps, where he taught English in Ceadir-Lunga, Moldova. Upon completion of his volunteer service, Sam attended the University of Denver to obtain a law degree. At law school, Sam participated in the school’s civil litigation clinic and the criminal defense clinic.
Prior to joining the Burnham Law Firm, Sam worked as a personal injury attorney for three years, before working for a large Colorado ski company as counsel and a Denver-based commercial litigation firm. After spending the first years of his career handling injury and then business disputes, Sam decided to shift his career toward domestic relations.
Sam is keenly aware of the fact that family law matters can be stressful and complex and is motivated to assist his clients through the most difficult issues in their lives. And, his commercial and litigation background compliments his ability to provide competent guidance and critical thinking to his clients’ cases and the corollary issues which stem from them.
In his free time, Sam loves to backcountry ski, race road and mountain bikes, cook, read, play guitar, and sail.
