Matthew is an Associate Attorney in the Civil Litigation Division at Burnham Law, based out of the Boulder office.
Originally from Georgia, Matthew attended Washington University in St. Louis for his undergraduate degree and the George Washington University Law School for his Juris Doctor, where he served as an articles editor for the Journal of Energy & Environmental Law.
Matthew has represented clients in complex civil litigation since graduating from law school. After four years practicing civil litigation in Washington, DC, Matthew moved to Colorado and joined Burnham Law to continue pursuing his interests representing clients in complex and high-stakes civil litigation.
Throughout his career, Matthew has represented clients in a wide variety of matters, including contract disputes, business torts, trade secrets disputes, ERISA and benefits litigation, employment disputes, discrimination litigation, bankruptcy, wage theft, railroad injuries, and defamation. Having represented both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts across the country, Matthew knows not only how to zealously advocate for his clients, but how do so efficiently and always with his client’s ultimate goals at the forefront of any legal strategy.
Matthew is licensed to practice law in Colorado, Georgia, and the District of Columbia.
Matthew lives in Boulder and enjoys spending his time hiking, cooking, and exploring Colorado with his dog, Willa.
