As a Colorado-trained trial attorney, Maria’s client-focused approach and extensive experience in civil
litigation, partnership agreements, personal injury settlements, and legal procedure generate win-win
solutions at every level of estate administration.

Maria graduated summa cum laude with a degree in English language and literature with a minor in
writing, winning three Student Literary Awards and the Academic Rosenberry Award. She obtained her
Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and is the recipient of Avvo’s Client
Choice Award and Avvo’s Top Contributor Award. Maria is admitted to practice law in both Colorado
and Wyoming state courts.
Early in her career, Maria garnered exceptional experience in civil litigation, working with several
personal injury firms, prosecuting cases as a city attorney, drafting partnership agreements, acting as a
judicial law clerk in the 18th judicial district, and serving as an in-house expert on court approval for
minor children personal injury settlements.

Based in Greenwood Village, Colorado, Maria spends her spare time coaxing plants back to life, reading
voraciously, and enjoying quality time with her husband and three incredible children.
