After graduating Magna Cum Lauda from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Bio-environmental sciences, Laurel went on to attend Law School at the University of Colorado in Boulder. There, Laurel focused on honing her knowledge in civil litigation with an emphasis in environmental and energy law. In that realm, Laurel was the Lead Notes and Comments Editor for the Law School’s Energy and Environmental Law Journal, worked on the Law School’s Environmental Law Clinic, and graduated with an additional certificate in Environmental, Natural Resources, and Energy Law. Since then, Laurel has developed an interest in nearly all civil matters, as it enables her to learn something new with every case.

Laurel went on to serve as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Juan G. Villaseñor in Colorado’s 8th Judicial District Court, were she gained practical and fundamental courtroom experience. Her unique life, work, and educational experiences enable Laurel to approach civil litigation with diligence, zealous advocacy, and compassion.

As a Civil Litigation Associate, Laurel is licensed to practice law in Colorado and the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. She focuses on litigating complex contract, property, tort, and other commercial disputes.

Laurel lives in beautiful Fort Collins, Colorado and enjoys backcountry skiing around Cameron Pass, dancing to live music, biking, and (sometimes) cooking.
