Kyla is an associate attorney out of our Greenwood Village Office. Her practice focuses solely on Domestic Relations matters.
Kyla earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno, graduating in just three years. Following college, Kyla worked as a case manager helping youth involved in the juvenile justice system. Kyla then went on to attend law school, earning her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
During her time in law school, Kyla worked at the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office under the Student Practice Act, gaining valuable litigation experience trying both a bench and a jury trial. Kyla also worked as a student attorney in the Civil Litigation Clinic where she represented victims of domestic violence and elder abuse, represented a client in a domestic relations matter, and served as guardian ad litem in civil protection order cases. Additionally, Kyla clerked for the Honorable Magistrate Lord-Blegen and Honorable Magistrate Hubler of the Denver District Court- Domestic Division.
In her free time, Kyla enjoys spending time with her dogs, Brooks and Cooper, cooking, and traveling.
