A two-vehicle crash involving an Arapahoe County sheriff’s deputy resulted in the death of two individuals on April 26, 2023. The collision occurred around 3:25 p.m. at East Broncos Parkway and South Blackhawk Street, as reported by the Colorado State Patrol. According to CSP, the male driver of one of the vehicles involved, aged 69, died at the crash location. A 75-year-old-female passenger in the same vehicle was taken to the hospital, where she passed away. The 58-year-old deputy, who was on duty and driving a patrol vehicle, was also admitted to the hospital. Details regarding their injuries were not immediately available. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
