The Denver Police Department has reported that two teen pedestrians were hospitalized with injuries suffered from a hit-and-run crash that occurred on March 13, 2023. The crash happened near Northfield High School on Central Park Boulevard between 56th and 55th avenues. Initial reports are that the crash involved a juvenile driver who fled the scene but was eventually found and taken into custody. The case remains under investigation, and the District Attorney will determine any criminal charges.
Burnham Law hopes for a quick recovery for the injured pedestrians. When the facts warrant, Burnham Law seeks punitive damages for injuries caused by willful and wanton behavior. In Colorado, punitive damages are allowed to be used to deter others from committing the same or similar conduct.
