Two Pedestrians Were Killed in Separate Accidents in Denver, CO – 2-12-23

Two pedestrians were killed on Interstate 70 in separate incidents on February 12 and February 13, 2023. The first fatality occurred around 9:00 PM on February 12th when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the eastbound lanes near Pecos Street. The second occurred at approximately 4:45 AM on February 13th when a pedestrian was struck in the eastbound lanes near Lowell Boulevard.

The Denver Police Department reported that in both crashes, the drivers of the vehicles remained on scene and that the investigations were ongoing.
