Two-Car Collision in Colorado Springs Caused by Negligent Driver

[COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO] – On June 20, 2023, a driver ran a red light and caused a two-car collision in Colorado Springs just before the morning rush hour, resulting in significant damage to both vehicles.

The incident occurred around 6 a.m. at the intersection of Platte Avenue and Circle Drive. According to local authorities, one driver was traveling eastbound on Platte Avenue, while the other driver attempted to make a right turn onto Circle Drive. Unfortunately, the vehicles collided at the intersection. The impact was so powerful that one of the cars ended up on its side, while the other managed to pull into a nearby parking lot despite sustaining significant damage to its front end.

As a result of the crash, eastbound Platte Avenue had to be partially closed. Emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene, and one individual was transported to the hospital for treatment.
