The Loveland Police Department has reported a fatal crash that occurred at 1:39 a.m. on April 6, 2023. Early reports are that one person died from the head-on collision at the intersection of Interstate 25 and Eisenhower Boulevard. Loveland police found that a Mitsubishi Lancer was in eastbound lanes and crossed the center line before colliding head on with a Toyota Highlander. The driver of the Mitsubishi sadly passed away at the scene. The driver of the Toyota survived but was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries.
