Six-Car Crash in Boulder, CO – 11.17.22

On November 17, 2022, the Boulder Police Department temporarily closed part of Folsom Street
between Colorado Avenue and Taft Drive due to a serious car accident and dangerous driving
conditions. Boulder Police reported a six-car crash that occurred along this stretch of road. It
appears weather and unsafe driving played a role in the accident.

As winter is upon us, Burnham Law reminds drivers that it is unlawful to drive at a speed that is
not reasonable and prudent given road conditions. This means that traveling at or below the
posted speed limit is unlawful if such speed is not reasonable for the road conditions.

Winter is here, and the holidays are upon us. Burnham Law hopes that everyone has a safe
holiday season. Please be aware of road conditions that can make traveling unsafe.
