On November 23, 2022, several cars were involved in an accident near the intersection of
Powers Blvd. and Palmer Park Blvd. in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Initially, police reported
that a driver lost control of their vehicle in the southbound lane on Powers Blvd. before colliding
into another vehicle. The collision caused a reaction that included at least two other cars. One
person is reported to be in critical condition, while two others were hospitalized.
The Colorado Springs intersection of Powers and Palmer is notoriously busy and has been the
scene of many accidents. In addition to the multi-car accident reported here, a pedestrian was
struck and killed by a vehicle this past month. The driver in that accident was arrested after he
initially ran from the scene.
Please be cautious when approaching the Powers and Palmer intersection. Burnham Law wishes
everyone a safe and happy holiday season.
