The Grand Junction Police Department reports that a serious car accident occurred on Pitkin
Avenue from 12th to 14th Street. The accident is reported to have occurred during the early
evening hours of November 28, 2022.
According to a witness, the accident involved many vehicles and was triggered by a rear-end
collision. Initial reports are that several people were hospitalized. Grand Junction Police are still
investigating the cause of the crash.
