Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle in Frisco, CO – 12.7.22

Recently, Colorado has seen a number of serious pedestrian-vehicle collisions. These types of
collisions, even at slow speeds, often result in serious injury and even death.

On December 6, 2022, a vehicle struck a pedestrian near Colorado Highway 9 and Summit
Boulevard in Frisco, Colorado. The town of Frisco has reported that the pedestrian was pushing a
shopping cart heading south before being struck by the car. Sadly, the pedestrian was seriously
injured and flown to Denver by Flight for Life in critical condition.

Similarly, on December 7, 2022, a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Grand Junction Police have reported the incident occurred near the Walmart located at 2881
North Avenue. Witnesses reported that the pedestrian was crossing 28 ¾ Road and was inside
the marked crosswalk at the time of the collision. Unfortunately, the pedestrian died on scene.
