On April 4, 2023, a 20-vehicle crash temporarily shut down northbound I-25. The Colorado State Patrol has reported that the large crash occurred during the morning commute near Castle Rock between exits 182 and 184. Early reports are that the crash may have been caused by a semi-truck driver, but the investigation remains ongoing.
Burnham Law hopes for a speedy recovery for those injured in this crash. This is another example of how quickly spring snowstorms can move into Colorado. The day prior to this crash, temperatures were sunny and in the mid 60s; however, a snowstorm moved in overnight, and morning commuters awoke to snow and ice.
