A section of Highway 20-26-87 (near Evansville, Wyoming), known as Old Glenrock Highway, was closed for several hours on May 1, 2023, following a multi-vehicle accident. The emergency call came in before 9 am, and multiple agencies responded to the crash. The highway was closed for more than 17 miles from Hat 6 Road to Glen Rock, according to officials.
The accident involved a head-on collision between two pickup trucks that resulted in the death of all three occupants. The victims are identified as two adult males and one juvenile male. Two of the victims died at the accident scene, while the third died at the hospital.
As of this writing, the Casper division of Wyoming Highway Patrol is still investigating the incident.
