Multiple Crews Respond to Downtown Colorado Springs Crash; Public Urged to Avoid the Area

[COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO] – The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) has dispatched several crews to the scene of a collision in downtown Colorado Springs, advising the public to steer clear of the affected area.

 

At approximately 7:04 a.m. today, CSFD responded to the crash that transpired at the intersection of Colorado Avenue and Wahsatch Avenue. As of the posting of this article, the incident remains ongoing, with CSFD personnel actively present at the scene. Tragically, there are individuals who are trapped as a result of the collision.

 

CSFD has temporarily closed off Colorado Avenue at Wahsatch Avenue. Motorists are strongly advised to seek alternate routes in order to avoid potential congestion and delays.
