Lakewood Police Department officials confirmed the closure of a portion of northbound Wadsworth Boulevard, resulting from a fatal pedestrian accident that took place on May 4, 2023. Information regarding the deceased has yet to be released.
According to the reports, the incident occurred between 2nd and 5th Avenues. The area remained closed for almost two hours as the department’s traffic team investigated the tragic collision.
