December 7, 2022, was a busy morning for emergency crews and police across the Denver metro
area. A car crash occurred on westbound Interstate 70 between Exit 276A (US 6) and Exhibit
275C (Steele Street). Police have yet to disclose details of the I-70 accident, but reports indicate
that Westbound I-70 was partially closed due to the crash.
Another car crash occurred at approximately 7:00 AM on northbound I-225 between Exit 4 (CO
83; Parker Road) and Exit 5 (Iliff Avenue). Northbound I-225 was temporarily closed due to the
accident.
There is a heightened risk of car crashes during the morning commute across the Denver metro
area. In the winter months, slick roads and sun glare add to that risk. When commuting, drivers
are expected to respect the various conditions and adjust their driving accordingly to avoid
driving negligently. Burnham Law hopes for a safe winter season for all.
