Wyoming Highway Patrol is still investigating a head-on collision that killed 65-year-old Cassaundra Vanvleet and injured another. The crash happened at approximately 4:51 p.m. on January 11, 2023, on Wyoming 789 near milepost 87.7 between Lander and Hudson. Initial reports are that Vanvleet lost control of her pickup, slid into oncoming traffic, and collided head-on with an SUV.
