Grand Junction Semi Truck and Car crash – 1.2.23

The Grand Junction Police Department has reported that a crash between a semi-truck and a car occurred at approximately 4 a.m. on January 2, 2023. The crash happened on Highway 6 and 50 when the semi-truck was turning eastbound onto the highway and hit the westbound car. Authorities have reported at least one person was transported to the hospital. Photos of the scene show the car with significant damage to the entire front end and driver’s compartment.
