Tragedy struck Monday, December 5, 2022, when a person was killed in a car crash along
Interstate 70 near Golden, Colorado. The Colorado State Patrol has reported that the fatality was
the result of a two-car accident along I-70 between Golden and C-470. According to CSP, the
two vehicles were traveling westbound when one rear-ended the other. Westbound I-70 was
closed for nearly three hours but has since reopened.
