DENVER, COLORADO – In a devastating incident on Sunday night, two individuals lost their lives, and another sustained serious injuries following a car crash on Interstate 25, as reported by the Denver Police Department.
The Denver Police Department responded to the scene at approximately 11:30 p.m. on May 28, 2023, where the accident occurred in the southbound lane of Interstate 25 near Yale Avenue. According to authorities, the tragic incident unfolded when a solitary vehicle, attempting to exit onto East Yale Avenue, suddenly veered back onto the interstate, colliding with the cushion barrier.
Tragically, both the driver and the front passenger of the vehicle succumbed to their injuries. The rear passenger, who suffered significant injuries as a result of the crash, was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical treatment.
As of now, the Denver Police Department is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, aiming to determine the exact cause.
