The Colorado Department of Transportation reported that Highway 285 in Jefferson County was the scene of a deadly car crash that occurred on January 15, 2023. Highway 285 was temporarily closed near Conifer, Colorado between Pine Valley Road and South Foxton Road. The identity of the deceased has yet to be announced, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
