Colorado Springs Police believe road rage was the possible cause of a serious crash on April 22, 2023. The driver of a car was said to be heading east on Milton Proby Parkway near Hancock when they were cut off by another vehicle, which prompted them to speed up and attempt to overtake the other car. However, they lost control and went off the side of the road, hitting a light pole before rolling multiple times and ejecting both the driver and a passenger. Both women were taken to hospital with injuries, while investigators suspect excessive speed and alcohol may have contributed to the crash.
