Car Caught on fire after crash on Colorado Highway – 1.17.23

According to the Colorado State Patrol, a person was fatally injured on January 17, 2023, when a car caught fire following a two-vehicle crash. Westbound U.S. Highway 34 was temporarily closed between 143 rd Avenue and Weld County Road 15. At the time of this article, information about the crash is limited and the investigation is ongoing.
