On April 25, 2023, Aurora Police have reported a fatal single-car crash that killed a female driver and injured a young child (passenger) in Aurora, Colorado. Early reports are that the crash occurred around 3 a.m. on South Quentin Way and East Iliff Avenue adjacent to the Heather Ridge neighborhood. Responding officers found both the woman and child inside the car and both were transported to a local hospital where the woman was pronounced dead. As of the time of this article, the cause of the crash is still under investigation and the identities of the woman and child have yet to be publicly released.
